Dave serves as a subject matter expert on the fire service for JH Consulting. He joined the team in 2014 and brings 38 years of fire service experience and education. He has been involved with the development and implementation of occupational safety and health as well as blood borne pathogen programs for fire departments. Dave has a M.S. degree in Safety and Environmental Management from West Virginia University. Dave holds several certifications, including Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS), NFPA Fire Officer 4, NFPA Fire Instructor 2, National Pro-Board Firefighter 3, EMT/Paramedic (34 yrs.), Rescue Scuba Diver, NFPA Fire Inspector 1, NFPA and OSHA Hazardous Material Technician, and First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor.
