Jeffery Harvey, DEL, CEM

Jeff has broad experience in emergency planning, having worked on projects for local governments, industrial facilities, school systems, and private sector businesses. His post-secondary education includes a bachelor’s degree in writing, a master’s degree in strategic leadership, and a doctorate in executive leadership. He also has taken a multitude of advanced training on the incident command system, public information in emergencies, and exercise design. Jeff has responded to a number of emergencies, including hazardous material incidents, floods, high-wind events, etc. In addition to his roles with JH Consulting, Jeff currently serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Charleston, where he teaches in the masters of strategic leadership curriculum, and as the planning officer for the Upshur County (WV) Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. He is a member of the International Association of Emergency Managers, International Leadership Association, and the American Society of Safety Professionals.
